The overall setup was disappointing. The room was located near a busy T-junction, resulting in constant road noise that made it impossible to get a good night's sleep. the access to the room was uninviting, passing through the pub's working areas, which left a negative first impression.

The family room was spacious and clean, with a comfy bed that helped us all sleep great. Loved having a flat-screen TV and an electric kettle in the room. The owner was super nice and even brought us a free drink. Breakfast had yummy options, and the atmosphere was really welcoming.

Great stay with some quirks

Had a fun night in the king room with a balcony. The food was tasty, especially the hunter's chicken! But man, that bed kept sliding around because of a taped support leg. breakfast could've been better—ran outta beans early. Staff were nice, tho.

The seasonal veggies were a tasty highlight, and the Hunter's Chicken was flavoursome as ever! Plus, the vintage vibe around the bar area and ample parking made for a lovely stay.

A cheeky downside was the noise from the busy T-junction right outside my window—definitely not ideal for catching some z's. Plus, the route to the rooms doesn’t kick off with the best first impression, passing through pub work areas.

This place suits me perfectly with free parking, a lovely bar area, and excellent wi-fi. I'll never forget how the staff helped me find my lost earring during my first stay. I highly recommend it!
